Don’t toss it! \nCelebrate Waste Reduction Week\, by bringing your broken/damaged small appliances\, computers\, electronics\, clothes\, jewelry\, books\, and more\, to the pop-up Repair Café at Whitby Central Library\, Meeting Room 1 on Saturday\, October 25\, 2025\, from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. to learn how to repair them with our expert volunteers. \nThis event is free but slots are limited\, register today! \n2. Here’s your chance to donate your unused craft supplies so someone else can be inspired to create with them! \nUnused donations will be accepted at the Newmarket Library from Tuesday\, October 28 until Friday\, October 31 during open hours. \nDonators will receive an early bird ticket for access to the craft supply meet starting at 12:30 p.m. Everything is free\, but there is a limit of 5 craft supply items per person during the swap.
