Do-It-Yourself Bike Repair

Learn how to fix your bike with help from our friendly staff and volunteer mechanics at no cost.

A lot of commons issue on a bike can be easily repair using simple tools and techniques. This program allows participants to gain hands-on knowledge to repair issues on their bike to get them cycling again.

Repairs available but aren’t limited to safety checks and assessments, adjusting fit of bike and seat height, pumping tires, tightening brakes, checking shifting, oiling chain and flat tire repair. A collection of used parts are also available if needed.

DIY Bike Repair is available anytime our community hubs are open for drop-in hours.

Service is operated on a first-come, first-served basis. In the event that all repair stations are occupied, you may have to wait. During peak season, there may be a significant wait for repair.
